Warranty

We take pride in our products. A great deal of effort, sweat, and sometimes blood! goes into every design. All of our products carry a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Chicshades' warranty covers each product against defects in materials and workmanship during manufacturing, and is guaranteed for life. This warranty is non-transferable—any warranty claim must be made by the original purchaser with proof of purchase. The product is covered by the warranty specified for that category.

To qualify for this warranty, the product must meet normal use and maintenance requirements and must not have been subjected to misuse, neglect, alteration, improper installation, or other damage; nor must it show any evidence of tampering, willful abuse, or vandalism. Defects in Chicshades products are determined solely by Chicshades, and not by any Chicshades representative, distributor, or dealer. Once a defect is determined, Chicshades will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective part with an identical or similar product, or refund the money (partial or full).

Any claim against Chicshades for defects in materials or workmanship must be made in writing (including email and/or electronic submission). Chicshades must authorize the return of any claimed or defective part before it can be returned. The party making the claim must prepay all shipping charges. Chicshades will not accept payment for purchased parts unless the warranty conditions are met. Chicshades reserves the right to replace, discontinue, change, or modify any product or its components at any time, with or without prior notice. In such event, Chicshades may, at its sole discretion, replace the warranted product with an updated or alternative (equivalent) version.

No Chicshades representative, distributor, or reseller is authorized to assume any other obligation or liability on Chicshades' behalf with respect to the product or to alter the terms of this warranty in any way. Chicshades is not liable for damages (including special, incidental, or consequential damages) arising out of or in connection with the performance or owner's use of Chicshades products.
